.NAME Domains

Established in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level domain extension is the sole TLD planned for personal websites only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. Initially, just 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to secure john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level names remained running.

Through our firm, you can register your dot NAME domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years. You will be able to edit the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an existing domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer key from the present domain registrar and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finished. There are no particular conditions on who can reserve a .NAME domain, but in order to preserve the concept behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.
